Duties
- Support infant care routines including feeding, diapering, and sleep transitions
- Assist in maintaining a calm, safe, and responsive classroom environment
- Follow guidance from lead teachers to support daily rhythms and routines
- Engage with infants in a warm, attentive, and developmentally appropriate manner
- Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards
- Support classroom transitions and supervision
- Provide support in other classrooms as needed
- Assist with preparation and cleanup of materials and spaces
- Contribute to a respectful, collaborative team culture
- Support an inclusive classroom environment that reflects anti-bias practices
- Interest in working with infants and young children
- Ability to remain attentive, patient, and responsive in a caregiving environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow direction and support established routines
- Willingness to learn and grow within an early childhood setting
- Commitment to anti-bias, inclusive, and community-centered practices
- Ability to meet Wisconsin DCF requirements (or willingness to complete upon hire)
- Previous experience with infants (childcare, nannying, or personal experience)
- Coursework in early childhood education
- Familiarity with developmentally appropriate practice
- Experience in collaborative or team-based environments
- Experience or training related to anti-bias or inclusive practices
