The Management and Program Analyst reports to the Senior Business Manager (Supervisory Health System Specialist) of Specialty Care at Tennessee Valley Healthcare System(TVHS) which is physically located in Nashville, Tennessee.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
I have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS 7) in Federal Service that includes performing the following duties: Demonstrates experience with healthcare data analysis, using an assortment of tools and methods such as reports, data servers/cubes, Pyramid Analytic servers and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access) as examples.; Experience in planning, organizing and managing projects, including development, implementation, and assessment of policies and programs.; Background in managing workflow processes related to clinical settings, including access management, scheduling, profile maintenance and missed opportunities.; Proficiency in using databases and software.; Expertise in creating presentations, data analysis and documentation using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.

Responsibilities:
***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION***Duties include but may not be limited to:
- Collects, compiles and tracks data for clinic management.
- Interprets data that supports the trending of critical information that is used nationally, regionally and locally for strategic planning.
- Manages clinics through consistent use of established processes and data systems.
- Identifies clinic inefficiencies and bottlenecks, researching their root causes and creating innovative alternatives to ensure the delivery of timely, appropriate and quality patient care.
- Data mines, creates templates and effectively communicates patient care plans to staff.
- Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of patient care systems in meeting established goals and objectives for areas of assignment.
- Communicates process modification presentations to staff.
- Develops, analyzes, evaluates, advises on or improves the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organization, manpower utilization, information and documentation systems.
- Maintains a project tracking system which includes change, control, documentation and notification of all aspects of the assigned project.
