What you’ll be doing
The Tennessee Titans are looking for individuals to work as Stadium Operations Assistant on an as-needed basis. This is part-time position, working no more than 10-15 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Stadium Event equipment set up to include moving tables and chairs, assembling staging, dance floors, pipe and drape, etc.
- Participate in the preparation, set up, and completion of conversions
- With direction from the Stadium Event Operations Coordinator, execute event orders and diagrams to properly set up event space
- Communicate with Events Team to match room sets to diagrams
- Ensure rooms are set by designated time
- Ability to change room sets on site when requested by client
- Communicate to internal departments via radio
- Have a positive approach to all tasks you undertake
- Must operate with a sense of urgency while prioritizing event needs
- Must be able to complete event safety checklists
- Assist in keeping all equipment inventory up to date including tables, chairs, linens, etc.
- Other duties as directed by Stadium Event Operations Coordinator
What you’ll bring
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to drive a forklift and have proper certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance and set-up/tear-down in and arena/convention center/hotel environment a plus
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects to extreme detail simultaneously and within deadlines
- Ability to work on a crew in challenging/pressure situations
- Ability to establish, develop, and maintain good working relationships with co-workers
- Outgoing personality, energetic, and proactive approach to work
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Work Environment: Stadium / field
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 75lbs
- Schedule: Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, and weekends. Schedule will include working some Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.
