What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nordic Center/Cafe Staff position at Tennessee Pass Cookhouse?

Job responsibilities:
- Take and prepare food and beverage orders during café hours (coffee, light fare, grab-and-go items)
- Operate POS system for café sales, trail passes, and equipment rentals
- Maintain café cleanliness — prep areas, dining tables, self-serve stations
- Stock and rotate food, beverage, and retail inventory
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with light food prep as needed
- Fit and issue Nordic ski equipment (skis, boots, poles) and tubing gear
- Explain basic use/safety to first-time renters
- Inspect returned equipment for damage; log issues
- Keep rental area organized and equipment properly stored between uses
- Greet and check in guests for Cookhouse meals, Nordic trail passes, and tubing sessions
- Answer guest questions about trail conditions, tubing hours, menu items, and general property info
- Handle guest concerns calmly and know when to loop in a lead
- Keep café, entryway, and rental areas clean, stocked, and guest-ready throughout the day
- Monitor and report equipment or facility issues to Nordic Center Lead
- Assist with opening/closing procedures (cash drawer, equipment counts, closing checklist)
- Support event days (weddings, brunches) with setup/service as needed outside normal café duties
- Follow all policies and procedures set by the Nordic Center Lead
- Communicate clearly with teammates across departments (Cookhouse, Yurts, Nordic)
- Additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and guest experience
- Support high quality guest experience in all realms
