JOB SUMMARY: Tennessee Machine Tool needs an experienced customer service representative responsible for processing sales orders, placing purchasing orders, and assisting the accounting department with client relations, project management, and procurement.
TECHNICAL ABILITY:
- Tennessee Machine Tool provides technical expertise to our customers.
- It is the responsibility of all inside sales associates to learn TMT product lines and can specify the correct tooling for end user applications.
- Engineering/Manufacturing/Industrial Distribution background is helpful, but not required.
INSIDE SALES ASSOCIATE:
- Screen sales calls and route calls to appropriate team members.
- Process quotes, sales orders, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Obtain quotes from vendors.
- Provide quotes from vendors to customers.
- Initiate Return requests and provide documentation to appropriate staff for processing.
- Work with vendors and customers to resolve returns, credits, and pricing discrepancies.
- Build relationships with customers.
- Assist with daily open order transactions.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Customer Service Representative is proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; use of basic office equipment, multi-line phone. Experience with Odoo inventory software program is a plus.
