Experienced Accounts Receivable representative needed for busy Medical Specialty Office
- Follows up on all denied or outstanding payer claims and any correspondence as assigned by supervisor. These payers include Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna and commercial.
- Work file rejections for assigned payers weekly.
- Work Approved – Failed claims weekly.
- Submit reconsideration and appeals along with paperwork for Medicare.
- Print paper claims daily if needed to prevent timely filing deadlines.
- Assists with posting insurance payments.
- Posts Zelis credit card payments.
- Answers patient phone calls one day per week.
