SUMMARY:
Warehouse Team Members are responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. A good Warehouseman has an excellent work ethic and is always looking for tasks to keep them busy. We are in search of a self-start- er that looks for ways to contribute to their team and exceed our production goals. Duties include, but are not limited to, loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock and putting appropriate labels on outgoing parcels.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School / GED Diploma
- Fork Lift Certification is preferred but not required
- Ability to work within a team setting
- Ability to stay self-motivated
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Read production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or purchase orders to
- determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed
- Deliver materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence
- such as size, type, style or product code
- Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, shelves, or delivers orders to
- packing station or shipping department
- Operate a forklift of similar equipment to complete job requirements
- Responsible for providing outstanding customer service with member Co-ops and other customers
