What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant District Attorney position at Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference?
The District Attorney General in the 9th Judicial District in Tennessee (Loudon, Roane, Morgan, and Meigs counties) has an opening beginning in early January for Assistant District Attorney. The position caseload and courtroom assignment would be based upon the nature of prior experience and demonstrated expertise. We have one central office in Kingston (Roane County). There is no requirement that you live in the district - if your commute is such that you can make it to the office and to any county courtroom in which you are assigned on time. Having a rabid interest in college sports is not a requirement but having at least a passing interest is highly beneficial to office chemistry and camaraderie. Michigan, Texas, UCLA, USC, UConn WBB, and Alabama fans will only receive token consideration! [As well as any Lane Kiffin fans, of course!] 😊
