Part-Time Practical Nursing Instructor
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Jackson is accepting applications for a part-time Practical Nursing Instructor for the Jackson main campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate Degree in Nursing required. Must hold active
licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee, B.S.N preferred. Must have a
minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years. Teaching experience preferred.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Assist with conducting training of students in Practical Nursing.
- Assist with curriculum instruction in the classroom.
- Supervise students’ clinical experience as scheduled.
- Assist with actively seeking potential clinical sites for the provision of clinical training.
- Demonstrate a commitment to staying current in the nursing field.
- Confer with administration to gain knowledge and better understand policy, procedure, and technology changes.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience and according to salary guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
