What You’ll Do

As Sanitation Technician, you'll be part of the team that ensures our manufacturing facility stays spotless and food-safe. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in closing out production at the beginning of the shift, with tasks such as: removing finished product from ovens and transporting racks to freezer.
• Clean & sanitize processing room surfaces and equipment, paying close attention to small areas.
• Re-assemble production equipment for next day's production.
• Operate industrial dishwashing machines, manually wash smallwares, pans, etc.
• Return all clean equipment and dishes to proper storage area.
• Periodic cleaning of overhead structures and other low-traffic areas of the facility.
• Safely use and dispose of cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Following hygiene and safety procedures.
• Participating in continuous improvement. We encourage team members to make small improvements every day - just 2 seconds faster, simpler, safer, or smarter.

Experience in warehouse, food service, restaurants, or manufacturing is a plus- but not required. 

Schedule
This is a second-shift position, starting at 3:00 p.m. with an estimated end time of 12:30 a.m. (end time is variable and is based on when the work is completed). Must be available to work: Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays). Number of days worked each week will vary depending on the company's production schedule, and can be anything from 4 to 6 days a week.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Able to follow safety and hygiene procedures (no jewelry, false lashes, nail polish or false nails, etc.)
• Able to stand for 9-10 hours, lift 30-50lbs, and perform physical work (bending, lifting, reaching, grasping, etc.)
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays during busy seasons
• Must pass a drug and background check, and complete a successful paid trial shift

Physical Requirements Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including prolonged standing, bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, reaching, pushing and repetitive hand/wrist movement often throughout shift.
• Required to be exposed to physical environment most of the work day, which involves: food debris and odors, constant equipment noise, temperature extremes, wet areas/water.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs on a regular basis and up to 50lbs on an occasional basis throughout shift .
