Job Summary
Reporting to the Printshop Supervisor, the Printing Technician is responsible for the operation of all print shop equipment.
Job Duties
- Operate all print‑shop equipment, including the digital press, wide‑format printer, digital paper cutter, UV coater, creaser, and booklet maker.
- Coordinate the delivery and pickup of printing projects to campus offices and departments.
- Maintain accurate records of printing jobs for budgeting and reporting purposes.
- Track, order, and maintain appropriate supplies necessary for print shop operations.
- Perform printing tasks associated with daily print shop operations.
- Ensure the cleanliness, upkeep, routine maintenance, and safety of the print shop and all related equipment.
- Work with the immediate supervisor to prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
- Independently organize work, set priorities, meet critical deadlines, and follow up on assignments
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
- Contribute positively as an active member of the Northeast State team.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service in all interactions with students, employees, and the broader community served by Northeast State.
