- Deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in accordance with the Practical Nursing curriculum and Tennessee Board of Nursing standards.
- Confer with administration to gain knowledge and better understand changes in policies, procedures, and technologies.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that support student learning outcomes.
- Select or develop teaching aids, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, and reference materials.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, progress evaluations, and clinical performance.
- Responsible for student placement and assisting with studentfollow-up.
- Cooperate with outside agencies; work with program advisory committees; conduct visits to business and industry; establish and maintain good public relations with the institution?s general public.
- Participate in the recruitment of students.
- Participate in curriculum development, program evaluation, and accreditation activities.
- Supervise students in clinical environments, ensuring safe and effective patient care practices.
