Loan Processor
The position of Loan Processor is primarily responsible for performing duties related to in-house loans. Such duties include: ordering appraisals, title work, credit, flood and UCC reports; generating loan documentation, closing loans and finalizing loan files to be input to the Bank’s loan platform; and working with appraisers, title companies/attorneys, etc.
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the loan officers, which includes answering phones, preparing memos, helping customers, handling tickler and exception reports; maintaining and promoting business for the Bank by keeping good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate areas/staff for required services and assisting with other functions and special projects as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent; or 1 year or more related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of a mortgage lending or processing background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
