What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Operator - Weekend position at Tenneco?
Weekend Shift Processes Operator: Operate, set up, and maintain a variety of production machines. You will be responsible for upholding strict quality, safety, and production goals while handling both molten metal processes and automated assembly lines.
Primary Equipment Used
- Molding & Casting: Casting machines, shot blast machinery, and cutting machines.
- Machining & Automation: Automatic loaders, Fanuc robotics, and CNC lathes.
- Testing & Finishing: Automated gaging, air leak testers, and component oilers.
Major Duties & Procedures
- Equipment Setup: Set up, operate, and maintain tooling for the Casting Line, Cutoff Machines, Automated CNC line, and Automatic Loaders.
- Production Support: Handle production reporting, part inspections, packaging, shipping, and material handling.
- Maintenance: Assist in preventive maintenance and minor machine adjustments to prevent quality issues.
- Safety & Compliance: strictly adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
Work Environment
- Environment: Physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand/walk for long periods, frequently bend/push, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Hours/Schedule: Weekend Shift Processes Operator: 12hr Shifts
