Role Description The Maintenance Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Angola, IN, responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring the reliable operation of equipment and facilities. Daily activities include scheduling and assigning maintenance work, monitoring equipment performance, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, working closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime, and maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation. The Maintenance Supervisor also supports safety initiatives, ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, manages spare parts and inventory, and contributes to continuous improvement projects. This role requires effective leadership of maintenance personnel, clear communication across departments, and a focus on operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance supervision or leadership within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs and schedules.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management systems (CMMS), basic computer applications, and documentation tools.
- Solid understanding of workplace safety standards, regulatory requirements, and safe work practices.
- Effective team leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external service providers.
