Machine Operator (2nd and 3rd shift)

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial equipment and machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will ensure our manufacturing processes run smoothly, meeting strict quality standards. Duties

• Operate a range of machinery including CNC machines, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
• Set up machines according to technical drawings, blueprints, and production specifications using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate production runs and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), shop math, and precision measurement techniques to verify product specifications.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; prepare finished products for packaging and shipment.
• Maintain detailed records of production activities, machine settings, measurements, and quality checks in compliance with safety standards in production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, or CNC programming is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication instructions.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation.
• Ability to read shop blueprints accurately and perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision tools.
• Experience with manufacturing environments involving stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, or similar equipment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments; committed to maintaining a safe workspace at all times.
• Basic math skills including shop math for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues efficiently; experience with factory or warehouse operations is a plus.
• Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
