Summary
The Custodial Substitute will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Tenino School District. This is a substitute position that may require work on short notice.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, and other school facilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling
- Set up and take down chairs, tables, and other equipment for events
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior custodial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to perform custodial tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a background check & Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance.
