Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer – TS/SCI CI PolyDepartment: Government Customer – McLeanLocation: McLean, VAACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE WITH CI POLY REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITIONTENICA is seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to support a funded Intelligence Community (IC) program in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, data science, and/or software engineering and will support the development of advanced AI capabilities that enhance data exploitation, reduce manual data processing, and improve threat detection across the Intelligence Community.Key Responsibilities:Utilize advanced analytical techniques and agentic data discovery methodologies to analyze disparate data sources across the Intelligence Community (IC) and partner agencies.Design, develop, and implement AI/ML solutions to accelerate data aggregation and identify emerging national security threats.Enhance program capabilities to exploit large datasets, uncover correlations, and identify threat vectors.Serve as a senior technical advisor and subject matter expert (SME) for AI/ML technologies, architectures, and methodologies.Translate complex technical AI concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IC stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver AI solutions aligned with mission objectives.Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and best practices to ensure continued innovation and mission relevance.Provide guidance and mentorship to non-technical team members on AI/ML methodologies and best practices.Create and maintain technical documentation for AI/ML models, algorithms, workflows, and processes.Conduct research and trend analysis on emerging AI technologies to inform future capabilities and program decisions.Required Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with CI PolygraphBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred), with the following experience:Associate Degree 10 yearsBachelor’s Degree 8 yearsMaster’s Degree 6 yearsPhD 4 yearsMinimum of 8 years of experience in artificial intelligence, data science, or software engineering.Strong expertise in AI/ML models, algorithms, and advanced analytical techniques, including agentic data discovery methodologies.Proven experience integrating and analyzing disparate data sources across multiple agencies or sectors.Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks and programming languages such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.Familiarity with large-scale data processing platforms (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience supporting the Intelligence Community or other government agencies.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of national security threats and data exploitation strategies.Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.TENICA is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Salary : $115,700 - $139,000
