AI/ML Engineer
Location: Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA)
Required Clearance: Must have Active TS/SCI (must be able to obtain CI Poly)
TENICA is seeking a cleared AI/ML Engineer to support advanced Time Dominant Track Fusion (TDTF) initiatives, transforming complex multi-sensor data into actionable intelligence that drives faster, smarter, and more accurate decisions in real time.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models for object detection, classification, and identification across diverse sensor data sources.
- Apply remote sensing and image processing techniques to extract insights from high-volume datasets.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for real-time data fusion and situational awareness.
- Integrate AI/ML solutions into production systems alongside multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Build, test, and scale applications in Python using ML frameworks and data science libraries.
- Manage code and collaboration through Git and operate in Linux environments
What You’ll Bring:
- 4 years of hands-on experience building and delivering AI/ML-based solutions for object identification and classification.
- 4 years of professional Python experience, with a focus on ML frameworks and data science libraries.
- Proven background in remote sensing, data exploitation, and algorithm development.
- Strong understanding of software version control and collaborative workflows using Git.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to complete a polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AWS or cloud-based ML infrastructure.
- Familiarity with sensor systems, capabilities, and data integration.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments with limited guidance.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
