We are looking for an accomplished bookkeeping professional that will be instrumental in supporting the Sr. Bookkeeper and company in recording accurate financial activities that assist in evaluating the state of the business If you enjoy crunching numbers and managing detailed record keeping, we want to speak with you!
The ideal candidate will be extremely detail oriented, thrives on getting each task complete accurately, loves deadlines and most of all, is a positive member of the team who is passionate about the vision of the organization.
This is a temporary position with a term of 3-6 months at which point the position will be reviewed and may be extended.
General Responsibilities and value brought to the team:
- Accounts Receivable entries
- Accounts Payable including facilitating the purchase order system & job costing
- Reviewing electronic timecard entries for accuracy
- Assist with reconciliations and general data entry
- Semimonthly payroll processing and supporting activities (Company uses Quickbooks assisted payroll for processing and employment taxes)
- Tax & Licensing activities
- Closing and reporting procedures that support in-depth analysis of company results
- Other related duties as required
General Qualifications requested:
- Working knowledge of the construction industry & job costing concepts
- Experience with Quickbooks Premier or Pro
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of general accounting including liabilities calcs unique to WA state, employee burden calculations, contract billing cycles and stage of job profit analysis
- 4 years of bookkeeping experience and related coursework
- Self starter with avid work habits
- Skilled Microsoft office products user including advanced excel skills

Salary : $24 - $30
