What are the responsibilities and job description for the Co-Founder position at TENET Intelligence?
We're Ben and John.
Ben engineered TENET's multi-agent intelligence platform and brings McKinsey strategy, UN executive office experience, and Goldman M&A background. He built the tech, team, and structured the business model.
John spent 22 years in DoD: combat pilot, DIA diplomat in Germany, managed $30B in foreign military sales at SAF/IA, and drove 9-figure IT transformations at Xerox/Conduent. He knows how the DoD and primes actually operate.
Together, we've built >$10M pipeline across U.S. and Allied agencies, backed by advisors including former DIA Acting Director, NATO SACEUR, U.S. Ambassador, and CIA operatives and tradecraft authors. The tech works. The mission has traction.
We need a third co-founder who's scaled this before.
Someone who has:
- Taken a defense/intel software company from early contracts to serious revenue
- A rolodex spanning agencies, COCOMs, and defense tech VCs
- Closed deals with primes, navigated FAR/DFARS, won SBIR/OTAs
- Built the operations backbone—budgets, hiring, capture, proposals, investor relations
- The scar tissue from actually doing it, not advising on it
You'll own your swim lanes in business development, capture strategy, company operations, and fundraising alongside us.
You'll build the organization that scales the technology.
Requirements:
- Integrity
- 4-10 years defense/intel/diplomacy operations
- 3-8 years startup/growth-stage (defense, intel, dual-use preferred)
- U.S. citizen (non-negotiable), clearable to TS
- High-energy, sharp-focused, excellent communicator, resilient
- Arlington, VA (hybrid)
Structure:
- 1-10% equity based on scope and contribution
- Initially equity-heavy with deferred salary until funding/contract milestone
