What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time LPN position at TenderNest Assisted Living?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement TenderNest's mission statement.
- Greet all employees and residents that you encounter throughout your shift.
- Attend in-services and trainings as required.
- Conduct a pre-move in assessment (RNA) on each resident; update assessment annually for Category A residents.
- Write Service Plans for Category A residents; review and update Service Plans annually, more often if needed.
- Perform quarterly nursing assessments on all residents.
- Monitor medication orders and records for residents on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate medication regimes with RN.
- Coordinate orders and work with pharmacy to ensure proper medication regimes are followed by staff. Maintain immunization records on each resident.
- Continually document communication with physicians, family members, third party services and staff as it pertains to resident care.
- Assist with training staff members in aspects ofcare, medications, equipment use, etc. Perform blood draws, following physician's orders for labs.
- Collect specimens and run urinalysis, communicating results to the physician.
- Assess falls and coordinate post fall care.
- Follow up on incident reports and document corrective actions, interventions and outcomes.
- Take call to assist with resident care and staff questions during non-business hours.
- Occasionally assist staff with resident care.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
