Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. As a Toddler Teacher, you will be instrumental in implementing age-appropriate curricula, managing classroom activities, and supporting families through effective communication and care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to toddler developmental stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activities, and early intervention strategies.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes safety, positive behavior management, and inclusive learning experiences.
- Facilitate daily lesson planning that includes hands-on activities, storytime, music, movement, and basic math concepts aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Monitor individual child progress through observations and assessments; adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education support.
- Manage classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene to ensure a consistent and caring environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development, milestones, and any behavioral or health concerns.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies that foster positive behavior and support child welfare.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
