What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare/Infant Aide position at Tender Years Pre-School and Childcare?
About our Company
Tender Years Pre-School and Childcare is a home-based facility located in the Terra Linda area of San Rafael. We are currently looking for 1 part-time aide to work with children ages 4 months to 5 years.
Days and hours are Monday 8:30-5:30 and Friday with an alternating shift of 8:30-5:30 or 7:30 - 5:00.
Meal credits.
Qualifications:
- Resume
- Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the job including lifting up to 50 pounds, range of movement including squatting, bending, reaching, standing and sitting.
- Willingness to help children develop their social, cognitive, emotional and physical skills while meeting their individual needs
- Ability to form strong partnerships with families to help them develop a sense of security and comfort
- Follow all safety and health rules while supervising children at all times
- Keep the environment and equipment safe, clean and attractive
- Participate actively in team teaching through communication and collaboration
- A "can do" and "do whatever it takes" attitude
Requirements:
- Have a reliable form of transportation
- TB test, whooping cough immunization and Measles clearance (or willing to complete within 30 days of hire)
- Valid ID card or driver's license
- Valid Social Security number
- Current 1st Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Complete Mandated Report on-line class or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Criminal Background check upon employment
