Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Qualified Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and supporting the growth and development of each child in your care. This role requires excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various subjects, including math.
- Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance educational experiences and engage students.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among students.
- Foster an inclusive environment that accommodates children with developmental disabilities.
- Incorporate Montessori principles into daily activities to promote independent learning.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
Experience
- Qualified Lead Teacher with a Wisconsin Registry Certificate
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or daycare setting is essential.
- Strong classroom management skills are required to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools that can enhance teaching methods is preferred.
- Experience in behavior management techniques is highly desirable.
- A background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial.
