Duties
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Observe and document patient conditions accurately, including vital signs, medication adherence, and behavioral changes, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Support clients with specialized care needs including Alzheimer’s care, dementia management, memory care, hospice support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding to meet dietary requirements while maintaining safety standards.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to promote overall health and comfort.
- Use medical terminology appropriately when documenting patient records or communicating with healthcare teams.
Job Details
- Approximately 36 hours per week
- Preferred Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Saturday or Sunday: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Consistent weekly schedule
- Potential opportunity for continued assignments after completion
- Start date is estimated to be on August 1, 2026
