Job Title: Infant and Toddler Classrooms
Location: Tender Learning Centre, Wilmington
Position Type: Full-Time, Four 10 hour days.

Job Overview: As a Infant/Toddler Teacher at Tender Learning Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting our infant and crawler classrooms. You will work collaboratively with other teachers to ensure a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for our younger learners. Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement daily activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Provide individualized attention to children, supporting their unique needs and interests.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, following health and safety guidelines.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Support children during mealtime, nap time, and other daily routines.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have EEC Teacher Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred not required; degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred not required.
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare or other setting required
- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A nurturing and patient demeanor, with a passion for early childhood education.
