What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician position at Tender Hugs and Care LLC?
The primary duty of a BT or RBT is to implement behavior intervention plans (BIPS) designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBAS).
• This includes working directly with clients to teach new skills, reducing problem behaviors, and reinforce positive behaviors.
• BT’s and RBT’s are responsible for collecting data during each session to monitor progress and so that adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• BT’s and RBT’s also collaborate with other members of the treatment team including BCBA’s, speech therapists, occupational therapists and educators.
• Communicate regularly with the team to ensure seamless and effective support.
• Adhere to BACB ethical guidelines in all interactions.
