PCA / In-Home Aide Duties and Responsibilities

- Travel to client's home in Belmont, NC; and arrive on time
- Wear your scrubs
- Greet client in a warm, professional manner
- Understand the limitations and needs of the client
- Treat client with respect and dignity
- Provide basic services as stated on the plan of care e.g. laundry, folding and organizing, light housework, clean meal areas, etc.
- Help with personal hygiene as stated on the plan of care e.g. bathing, brushing, toileting, "lotioning" ...
- Assist with mobility (simple exercises e.g. ambulation room to room, Passive / Active ROM, walking) - as needed
- Engage in conversation with the client
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Change bed linens at least once a week
- Clean client's room and bathroom
- Assist with all daily activities, based on the client’s limitations and needs
- Follow client's care plan daily
- Provide a caring and positive presence for the client
- Document/log client’s progress and overall well being for daily reports
- Other miscellaneous tasks for the client's wellbeing and safety
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
