Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site CT Technologist role with positions available at Orlando, Florida- Gainesville & Ocala Area, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Destin. The CT Technologist will perform CT imaging procedures while ensuring compliance with safety and imaging quality standards, applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology, regulates equipment used to expose the x-ray image as well as processing organise the image in PACS. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, adhering to radiation safety protocols, and collaborating with medical professionals to review and analyze diagnostic images. The role requires attention to detail, patient care, and adherence to medical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT concepts to include head, body, MSK, spine and chest imaging
- At least one year of experience as a CT technologist(REQUIRED)
- Acute care experience (preferred)
- FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS
