Tendercare ABA is growing! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As a Behavior Technician or RBT you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral therapy and support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities.
Role and Responsibilities
The primary role is to provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities across home, school and daycare settings.
Key duties include:
- Following prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
- Collecting daily data and completing daily session notes using the Rethink data collection system.
- Supporting challenging behavior.
- Communicating client progress with parents/caregivers (with BCBA guidance).
- Accepting and implementing regular feedback from supervisors.
- Attending to basic needs like feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing.
Schedule and Location
- Hours: Monday–Friday, (no weekends).
- Full-Time: 35–40 hours per week, supporting 1–2 learners.
- Part-Time: 20–30 hours per week, supporting 1 learner. Minimum availability is 20 hours/week (M-F).
- Location: In-person services at Homes, Daycares, and Schools
Compensation and Benefits

Required Qualifications
- Age 18 and a High-school degree or equivalent.
- Valid RBT certification OR the ability to obtain it (the company will pay for certification if you don't have it yet).
- Must pass state and federal background checks.
- Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and valid Ohio driver's license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods
