Traveling Endo Dental Assistant

As an Endodontist Dental Assistant at Tend, you'll play a crucial role in supporting specialized endodontic care within a modern, patient-centered studio environment. You'll provide expert chairside assistance for root canals and other endodontic procedures, ensure precise clinical setup and sterilization, and create a calming, informed experience for patients who may arrive in pain or with dental anxiety. You'll be part of a supportive, growth-focused culture that's elevating the standard of specialty care at Tend.What You'll DoProvide specialized chairside support for endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, retreatments, and emergency endodontic carePrepare operatories with endodontic instruments, materials, and technology (apex locators, rotary systems, microscopes, CBCT scans, etc.)Take high-quality periapical and diagnostic radiographs to support clinical decision-makingMaintain strict sterilization and infection-control protocols aligned with OSHA and CDC standardsSupport patient comfort by clearly explaining steps, reducing anxiety, and anticipating needs during potentially lengthy proceduresEnsure seamless clinical flow by coordinating efficiently with the endodontist, front desk, sterilization techs, and studio teamAssist in managing follow-up care instructions, treatment notes, and documentation accuracyParticipate in ongoing development to advance your skills in specialty workflows, digital tools, and clinical excellenceWho You AreYou embody our Tend values and demonstrate key competencies that ensure both patient success and team excellence.
