Role Description The lead Nanny at Tend will provide attentive, safe, and nurturing care to children in an on-site setting located in Santa Clara, CA. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising 1-5 children’s activities ages 0-12, supporting age-appropriate learning and play, preparing simple and nutritious meals and snacks, while maintaining excellent client service with kitchen cleaning and tidying children's play and household environment.
The role also involves following consistent family routines, communicating regularly with parents , caretakers, and care coordinators supporting children’s emotional, social, and physical development. This is a full-time position, requiring consistent availability and reliability to support the family’s schedule.
Qualifications
- Strong childcare and babysitting experience, including working with children in home or group settings.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate activities to support children’s growth.
- Ability to prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks, with basic cooking skills.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills when interacting with children and families.
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment and follow safety guidelines.
- Previous experience as a nanny, caregiver, or educator is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to pass background checks and provide professional references.
Compensation : $19-$60 per hour
