The New Construction Manager (NCM) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing field operations, managing crews, enhancing training programs and ensuring the successful execution of commercial construction projects. This position entails site visits, planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of fieldwork while upholding TENCO SOLAR’s unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Your expertise as a subject matter expert in the construction industry and hands-on experience in the field will be instrumental in our success. The NCM will collaborate closely with project managers, field superintendents, and other trade representatives to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of client satisfaction. To succeed in this position, the candidate should be self-motivated, able to travel extensively, flexible with changing schedules, and be a team player.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
On Site
- Visit job sites across California to complete audits and training
- Provide direction to foreman and assist foreman run crew
- Responsible for maintaining safe jobsites and ensuring crew is adhering to safety training
- Conduct training and development for technicians
- Responsible for quality control management on site
- Communicate and coordinate with superintendents and other trades in the field
- Build unity and motivation among and between crews

Location : Office-based with regular travel to project sites across California
