Job Overview
We are expanding our Claims Intake Department within our HUB Team to support increasing claims volume across the Southeastern region.
The HUB Team at Tenco Services, Inc. consists of Administrative Support Specialists who collaborate to provide clerical support to Claims Managers and Adjusters. This support ensures the delivery of high-quality, satisfactory service to clients.
As a member of the HUB Team, the Administrative Support Specialist primarily performs administrative tasks for the home office, enters claims data and submits reports into the claims management system, and handles phone calls and emails from clients and their insureds. It is essential to represent the company's name and reputation with professionalism and integrity, as the specialist often serves as the first point of contact for clients. Effective communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach are key to making a positive impression.
Please Note: This position is dedicated to administrative work and does not lead to an adjuster role. It is ideal for individuals who excel at organized, behind-the-scenes support within the claims process.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and process incoming claims and communications via a shared Outlook inbox, ensuring prompt and appropriate handling under HUB Supervisor guidance
- Enter and verify claims data within our claims management system
- Draft and format professional correspondence and reports from notes or provided content
- Answer and route client and internal calls/emails professionally
- Coordinate with the HUB team through Microsoft Teams and support shared initiatives
- Represent Tenco’s brand and service quality as a key point of contact with clients
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical support role
- Fast and accurate data entry (50 WPM and 10-key proficiency)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams and remote collaboration tools
- Demonstrates professionalism, organization, and customer service excellence
- Proven success in remote work environments (required for remote candidates)
Preferred but Not Required
- Background in Property & Casualty insurance claims
- Familiarity with remote admin tools and workflows
Salary range: $42,000 – $44,000/year, based on experience
Full-time, W2 position
Location & Work Policy
Brentwood, TN (Metro Nashville): On-site training required for 6 months, followed by a hybrid schedule (1 remote day/week)
Or
Outside Metro Nashville TN : US Based Fully remote considered for candidates with proven remote work success.
