Senior Industry Product Manager

Business Unit What the Role Entails - Collaborate closely with the regional sales team as the primary point of contact for customers in the audio and video sectors. Provide technical support for pre-sales consultations and Proof of Concept (PoC) verification services, maintain robust customer relationships, and support the business team in achieving their objectives. - Assist the regional architecture team in analyzing customers' media technology architectures, identifying their needs and value propositions in audio and video scenarios. Develop and present industry solutions and case studies for international markets, including OTT, social media, gaming, education, and business sectors. - Integrate industry solutions with customers' business and technical requirements, leveraging Tencent's audio and video product features. Facilitate customers in achieving their goals and values by effectively communicating their requirements to the product development team. - Actively participate in public online and offline presentations to showcase Tencent's media product capabilities, share industry experiences, and insights. Enhance the influence of Tencent Cloud Media Service, and strengthen and expand Tencent's network within the media services industry. Collaborate with channel and marketing teams to support Tencent Cloud's regional ecosystem partners through channel empowerment training, participation in workshops, and Media Demo Day events. Who We Look For - Minimum of three years of professional experience with a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, IT, cloud computing, or a related field. - Bilingual in Chinese and English preferred, with excellent communication, public speaking, and technical writing skills. - Deep understanding of the audio and video industry, including live streaming, video on demand, encoding/decoding, and network transmission. Strong customer-oriented skills with a keen sense of customer service, capable of engaging with technical decision-makers. - Experience in related industries or working with public clouds is highly desirable. - Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills are preferred. Location State(s) US-California-Palo Alto The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $123,200.00 to $231,000.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan. The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee’s tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year. Benefits may also be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
