Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support our manufacturing and production teams. This internship provides hands-on experience in process improvement, production support, quality control, and engineering documentation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The intern will work closely with engineers, technicians, and production personnel to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing engineers with daily production and process improvement activities
• Support development and maintenance of work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for manufacturing issues
• Help implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support equipment setup, troubleshooting, and validation activities
• Assist with time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning
• Collaborate with quality and production teams to improve product quality and reduce waste
• Maintain accurate engineering records, reports, and project documentation
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with CAD software and lean manufacturing concepts is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

• Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience with data analysis and process improvement tools
