The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for a Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As an HR Generalist, you will support the HR team and focus on fostering positive labor and employee relations among teams, monitoring trends, and proposing constructive solutions.
Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $70,304 – $70,304 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
- Assist with the administrative functions of new hire and return to work onboarding, new hire orientation, and training; administer training attendance tracking, and enter new hires in the HRIS
- Navigate employee and labor relations matters thoroughly and in a timely manner by applicable laws and contract requirements.
- Assist the HR team with benefits and coordinate new hire paperwork for the unions and all new hires.
- Assist with providing direction and guidance to managers and team members on HR issues, including recruitment, employee relations, corrective counseling, policy interpretation, legal compliance, compensation, and benefits programs
More about you
- Minimum of 2 years’ HR experience
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and time management skills
- valid drivers license required
