As an Guest Recreation Clerk, you will oversee the operations of the guest recreation department and ensure visitors receive the highest quality of service during their stay. What will you do?
- Keep a watchful eye on activities for rule and safety compliance; manage disruptive situations with guests.
- Clean and inspect sporting equipment, facilities, or grounds
- Guide guests on hikes, activities, lead Kids’ Camps and Adventure Clubs, care for dogs in an indoor dog park
- Follow all Delaware North Parks and Resorts policies and procedures
More about you
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect guest and employee safety
- Ability to communicate effectively, problem solve, and know when to involve a supervisor
- Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures
- No high school diploma or GED required
Physical requirements
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, and hike for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to bend and stoop frequently
