We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Product Marketing Manager to join our commercial marketing team. In this role, you will lead strategic marketing initiatives and product launches for our oncology and life sciences research portfolio. You will be responsible for translating complex clinical, genomic, and AI-driven data into compelling commercial narratives, launching campaigns that drive product awareness, and equipping our commercial teams for success. The ideal candidate has a background in molecular diagnostics, oncology, or life sciences research, paired with a proven track record of managing cross-functional product marketing operations in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment. Key responsibilities: Develop clear, compelling, and scientifically accurate product messaging and value propositions derived from complex technical specifications, scientific evidence, and clinical data. Design and execute high-impact omni-channel marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, drive product adoption, and generate high-quality commercial leads. Produce high-quality sales collateral, marketing assets, and digital content. Partner with Learning & Development (L&D) to deliver clinical and technical curricula to educate the sales force. Work cross-functionally with commercial team members (marketing, sales, legal, medical, regulatory, business and sales operations, etc.) to to ensure strategic alignment and compliant execution of marketing programs. Plan and lead sales engagement events (e.g., National Sales Meetings, regional meetings, and conferences) to align field teams on product positioning and commercial strategies. Monitor, analyze, and report on competitive activity, market trends, and customer feedback to continuously optimize product positioning and future product offerings. Contribute to the annual strategic marketing plan, optimizing budget and resource allocation to maximize portfolio growth. Manage the end-to-end promotional review process (MLR) for all marketing materials to ensure strict compliance with industry guidelines. Support the strategy and execution for medical conferences, peer-to-peer educational programs, and digital thought-leadership events. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required 5 years of relevant marketing experience in the healthcare, biopharma, oncology or diagnostic space, targeting healthcare providers Market analysis and competitive analysis experience Exceptional storyteller and communicator capable of explaining complex scientific and technical concepts in simple terms Outstanding cross-functional leadership skills, with proven experience managing complex projects through influence Entrepreneurial spirit, to roll up your sleeves and work on everything from strategy to creating copy for one-pagers. Self-starter, excellent problem-solving skills. High degree of self-awareness, confidence, organizational, communication and anticipatory skills Chi: $100,000 - $150,000 The expected salary range above is applicable if the role is performed from Illinois and may vary for other locations (California, Colorado, New York). Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
