What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Assistant position at Tempus unlimited?
I am a 42 year old woman, who has Spina Bifida, among other conditions. Paraplegic and power wheelchair user. I live in Walpole Ma (closer to Foxboro/Gillette). I am seeking day to day as well as back up PCA assistance with various ADLs and IADLs including but not limited to: bathing and skin care, dressing/undressing, toileting/female personal care needs, laundry and general housekeeping, shopping and errands, meal prep/cooking etc. Occasional travel (New England area) would be helpful! (Expenses paid by consumer.) PCAs should be reliable and responsible, easy-going, and willing to learn new things and adapt as needed. PCAs must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from work and to go on errands and be willing to have a CORI check.
I would prefer a female PCA and someone who has a nursing/CNA/HHA background is a bonus for me. MAP (medication) certification would be helpful as well! PCAs will be paid $19.50/hr. bi-weekly through Tempus Unlimited, Inc. and pay rate is non-negotiable. MWF 5-9pm.
