This hospital is seeking an overnight emergency clinician to join their 24-hour emergency/multi-specialty practice serving the Phoenix Metropolitan area. This position will serve to support hospitalized patients and receive incoming emergency patients. The AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor, 24-hour emergency/specialty practice, is one of the top veterinary specialty centers in the Southwest, with a strong clinical caseload and a longstanding reputation for excellence. Their current veterinary roster includes 4 Surgeons, 3 internists, 2 criticalists, a neurologist, 2 oncologists, 5 ER Doctors, 3-6 rotating interns, surgery resident and a second year surgery specialty intern. A dedicated diagnostic imaging team consisting of two highly trained radiology technicians complements their well-trained support staff. Their state-of-the-art, 18,000 sq. ft. facility features a 34 bed ICU with 2 Snyder oxygen cages, Newport E360 critical care ventilator, high flow nasal oxygen, dedicated isolation unit, several multi-parameter monitors, dedicated mobile ultrasound unit, wireless telemetry and a dedicated ICU staff in addition to a high-quality ER support team.
