Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll focus primarily on general practice and surgery, providing preventative healthcare, routine consultations, diagnostics, medical treatment and surgical procedures for companion animals. You'll manage cases from initial examination through treatment and follow-up, building strong relationships with clients and supporting continuity of care. While the hospital sees occasional urgent cases, the position is predominantly focused on general medicine and surgery, making it particularly appealing to veterinarians who prefer a traditional GP environment. You'll have the clinical autonomy to make decisions regarding your patients, alongside access to advanced treatment and diagnostic options, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy and high-resolution 3D CT imaging for dentistry.
