Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive feline-only veterinary care across a varied caseload. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry with dental radiography, anesthesia, general and routine surgery including spays and neuters, pain management, geriatric medicine, hospitalization care, and euthanasia services. The role also involves performing diagnostic workups, issuing health certificates, and collaborating closely with the clinical team to deliver high standards of feline-focused care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital features three exam rooms and a full dental suite with the ability to perform two dental procedures simultaneously. Diagnostic and treatment capabilities include digital radiography, digital dental radiography, tonometry, and Midmark Cardell 9500 HD vital signs monitors in both the dental suite and surgical areas. Hands-free radiology is currently implemented at approximately 80 percent. Facilities include an in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, an in-office surgical suite, isolation ward, and hospitalization areas. Services span primary care, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, preventive medicine, wellness testing, and advanced diagnostic imaging. The practice is AAHA accredited and recognized as a Cat Friendly Practice, reflecting a strong commitment to feline welfare and stress-free veterinary care.
