Non-Profit Organization is seeking to fill a Secretary II position. The ideal candidate needs to be bilingual in English and Spanish, have 2 years of clerical office support experience and excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Secretary provides administrative and clerical support to the Program Manager. Performs a variety of tasks including typing, filing, follow-up assignments and telephone coverage for the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
  • Must have experience in desktop publishing, mail merge, and data entry. Responsible for typing letter, memorandums, reports, proposals and other reporting data.
  • Must have the ability to perform a variety of general office duties
  • Good organization skills & task oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Provides both written and oral translation services as needed.
  • Provides backup support and primary support in carrying out the overall responsibilities of the office.

Requirements:

  • Must provide proof of High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of MS Word, and Excel required.
  • And/or 4 years of clerical experience
  • Must be bilingual in English & Spanish
  • Must be able to pass a typing assessment, typing a minimum of 45 wpm.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

  • Secretary/Admin: 3 years (Required)
  • Microsoft Excel: 4 years (Required)
  • Microsoft Word: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Publisher: 4 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • Spanish (Required)
