Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Support food service operations by assisting with serving food or catering events when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all health regulations related to food handling and alcohol service to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Skills
- Prior experience in bartending or food service is highly preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for quick and accurate transactions.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service abilities with a welcoming attitude toward diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately.
