Property Maintenance Worker
Fort Fairfield, ME – FT/Days – Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Job Description:
New opening for a Property Maintenance Worker with a locally based organization. Excellent daytime schedule – overtime pay available. Full-Time/Days; 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday - Thursday and some weekends as needed. $ $18.50/hr.
The Property Maintenance Worker will perform routine building maintenance and repairs, including painting, light carpentry, fixture replacements, lawn care, snow removal, and trash removal. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. Prior maintenance experience helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and restore unused building units.
- Preform light carpentry, such as patching drywall and repairing finished structures.
- Fix minor electrical and plumbing issues.
- Repair and/or replace fixtures and appliances.
- Clean, resurface, and paint indoor and outdoor surfaces.
- Replace damaged carpets and flooring.
- Remove trash and place in appropriate disposal areas.
- Provide lawn care and snow removal services.
- Perform other duties as required by site supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Prior professional experience related to building and/or grounds maintenance.
- Valid Maine driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Background check required.
