Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery, such as saws, conveyors, and planers.
- Load/unload raw materials and finished products from equipment or work areas.
- Inspect finished lumber to ensure that products conform to quality standards.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures as directed by site supervisor.
- Notify management of any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns in a timely manner.
- Perform other relevant duties as requested by site supervisors.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- At least 1-2 years of experience operating sawmill machinery or similar production equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Background check required.
