Urology- Faculty

Temple University, Office of Physician & Faculty Recruitment
Philadelphia, PA Other
POSTED ON 3/4/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 6/11/2027

Summary of Position

Discover what makes Temple Health one of the best places to work in Philadelphia! The Department of Urology is expanding across all domains of urologic care — including urologic oncology, reconstructive urology, endourology, men’s health, pelvic floor, and general urology — as part of the growth of the Fox Chase-Temple Urologic Institute. With strong institutional support and leadership alignment, we are building an academically driven, clinically excellent program serving a diverse patient population across multiple sites in the greater Philadelphia region.

Located in the heart of a diverse urban area, Temple Health is acutely aware of the impact of the national systemic problems related to the lack of health equity and access to affordable, culturally responsive healthcare. In response, Temple Health works to address issues that promote health equity through education, care delivery, workforce development, and research. We recognize that an environment enriched with persons from varied backgrounds working to address health disparity enhances scholarly work and the development of a culturally aware and responsive healthcare workforce.

The Opportunity

The Department of Urology at Temple Health is recruiting exceptional faculty to join its growing team, as part of the continued expansion of the Fox Chase-Temple Urologic Institute. We welcome urologists from all domains — including oncology, reconstruction, endourology, men’s health, pelvic floor, and general urology — who are eager to contribute to a high-performing, academic, and patient-centered program.

Faculty will play a vital role in advancing Temple’s mission of excellence in clinical care, education, and research. All positions include responsibility for teaching medical students and residents in our ACGME-accredited training programs. Scholarly activity — including clinical research, innovation, presentations, and publications — is strongly encouraged and supported through the resources of both Temple Health and Fox Chase Cancer Center.

The Department of Urology is experiencing transformational growth and, under the umbrella of the Fox Chase-Temple Urologic Institute, now provides fully integrated, advanced urologic care across multiple sites in the greater Philadelphia region.

Our 5-year residency program (with 4 residents per year) is regarded as one of the nation’s top urology training programs. Residents rotate through a broad network of academic and clinical sites, including Temple University Hospital – Main Campus, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Temple University Hospital - Jeanes Campus, Chestnut Hill Hospital, and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. In addition, we offer highly regarded fellowships in Urologic Oncology and Reconstructive Urology, attracting top-tier candidates from across the country and internationally.

Faculty have access to a robust robotic surgery platform, advanced clinical trials infrastructure, and multidisciplinary collaboration across the health system. With significant recent investments in clinical expansion and research capacity, Temple Urology — through the Fox Chase-Temple Urologic Institute — is poised to become one of the region’s premier academic urology programs.
