What are the responsibilities and job description for the NURSING ASST 1 Med Surg 24 HR Day Flex (6:45am-7:15pm) FCCC position at Temple University Health System and Careers?
Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current
Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required
Experience
1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred
Licenses
Basic Life Support Required
Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
Education
